Letter from Birmingham Jail at Ventura County Library System

Ventura, CA - On Tuesday, April 16, 2013, Library staff from the Ventura County Library System will participate in a global reading commemorating the 50th anniversary of the publication of Letter from Birmingham Jail by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. from 5-6PM. At this free event, library staff and volunteers will read Letter from Birmingham Jail in conjunction with Birmingham Public Library and hundreds of libraries across the globe. In addition to the reading, the library will also have live video and a book display honoring Dr. King.
