On Saturday, September 27, the Museum of Ventura County will participate in the fourth annual Museum Day, presented by Smithsonian magazine. On that day, participating museums and cultural institutions nationwide will open their doors free of charge to attendees who present Smithsonian magazine’s Museum Day admission card. Although the Museum of Ventura County’s facility at 89 S. California Street in Ventura is already free admission, all institutions participating in Museum Day will have free admission September 27, regardless of their regular admittance policy.
