Hammond new Vicar at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church

The Rt. Rev. Daren Williams, Ordinary of the Diocese of the West, Anglican Church in America, recently announced the appointment of the Reverend Robert M. Hammond, as the new Vicar of St. Stephen’s Anglican Church in Fillmore CA. Fr. Hammond replaces The Rev. Ron Ryan who was recently named Vicar of St. George’s Anglican Church, Anchorage, Alaska. Fr. Hammond, a resident of Fillmore, previously served as the Rector of St. Augustine of Canterbury Anglican Church, Hollister, CA. St. Stephen’s (formerly Dayspring Anglican Church) a Mission of The Anglican Church in America (the American province of the Traditional Anglican Communion) is a branch of One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. The style of worship at St. Stephen's in the popular jargon, is "old school", we use the 1928 Book of Common Prayer and Anglican Missal. We are a Traditional Anglican Church in the Anglo-Catholic Tradition. We fully believe that in the Holy Scriptures, the Catholic Creeds, the Lord's Sacraments and the Apostolic Succession, the essential Nature of Christ's Church is faithfully preserved.
