Condor Cross Country team visits Fillmore Sun Risers Rotary

On Tuesday, November 15, 2011 the Rotary Club of Fillmore Sun Risers were visited by members and coaches of the Condor Cross Country team. Coach Rafael Laureano gave an update on the team and presented Club members with Condor water bottles. The Rotarians have been long time supporters of the Condors with donations toward travel to their national cross country meets. Rotary International is the world's first service club organization, with more than 1.2 million members in 33,000 clubs worldwide. Rotary club members are volunteers who work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education and job training, promote peace, and eradicate polio under the motto Service Above Self. The Rotary Club of Fillmore Sun Risers meets weekly at El Pescador Restaurant at 7:00 AM.
