Doctor Nelson owner of Nelson Veterinary Clinic

If you’re a Fillmore Native then you probably have heard of if not know Doctor Nelson who owned Nelson Veterinary Clinic and actually built the facility that is currently our Fillmore Animal Hospital. He also volunteered his time at the school farm and for 4H. He was a longtime member of the Fillmore Lions Club as well. For years after he sold the clinic he still treated all the large animals within Ventura County. With that being said, Good Ol’ Doc Nelson is turning 100 on Sunday, January 26, 2025 and his family would love for you guys to write down some memories or stories or photos you have of him.
