The Fillmore Friends of the Library will host their Annual Open House at the Fillmore Library 502 Second Street Wednesday December 16th from 1pm-5pm. Please drop by to visit the library, indulge in delicious refreshments, and learn more about opportunities to become an active member of the Friends group.

On display will be art work produced by local students: Froy Corona, Kyla Hernandez, Aimee Orozco, and Maia Thayer. Also, Colors: Youth Community Art Studio has a beautiful display of collage art work done by students this last summer.

We will also be featuring the works by local student authors: Jeremy Brooks, Emma Couse, and Raphael Magana.
Wana Klasen’s beautiful poinsettia art will grace our welcoming table.

Don’t forget to bring the kids! We will have a puppet show at 3:30 p.m. and drawing for special prizes! Refreshments will be served throughout the day, and every child will have a chance to select a toy from our Magic Toy box!
