FHS Band Director, Greg Godfrey, enjoys teaching students to play instruments. “It is great to watch my students move from the beginning to the advanced level.” Mr. Godfrey’s advice: “Anyone who wants to become a professional musician be ready to practice! Most of all, you should have fun playing your instrument. The better you get as a musician, the more fun you have”. And it is just that: This summer Mr. Godfrey held band camp at FHS where 80 students participated and practiced their instruments from 10am to 4pm every day. FHS Band marched at the Ventura County Fair Parade two weeks ago.
