New Seat Belt Law for Children
By Anonymous — Tuesday, October 11th, 2011
Beginning on January 1, children under 8 years old will be required to ride in booster seats. This is a change from current law which requires children 6 years old or who weigh less than 60 pounds to be in booster chairs. Signed into law by Governor Brown, the new law allows for an exception: children who are at least 4 feet 9 inches tall. |
