Piru goes to the Dodgers

On Sunday, May 3, 95 Piru area residents enthusiastically attended an afternoon Dodgers’s game, rooting the Dodgers to victory. The trip was paid for by a CDBG county wide grant, coordinated by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura, Fillmore-Piru area. The entire trip, including transportation, food, admission, a free jersey to youth under14 was free. Adults and high school students were the Big Brothers, Big Sisters of the younger students.
