Potential Fire Weather Due to High Winds
There is the potential for critical fire weather conditions across portions of Los Angeles and Ventura counties due to the combination of gusty Santa Ana winds, very low humidities, and dry fuels. As a result, a Fire Weather Watch has been issued for wind prone areas of Los Angeles and Ventura counties Tuesday through Thursday. Any new fires in the Watch area will have an increased risk for rapid fire spread and extreme fire behavior. Courtesy https://www.weather.gov/lox/.
