The perfect time for spring gardening is the perfect time for the annual Garden Walk, sponsored by Santa Clara Valley Hospice/Home Support Group and PanAmerican Plant. The Garden Walk will be held Sunday, April 5 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at PanAmerican Plant, 335 S. Briggs Road in Santa Paula. Tickets for the Garden Walk, which will benefit the always-free services of SCVHHSG and the River Valley Club Adult Day Program, are only $10 each, available at the door. No plants will be sold during the Tour but visitors will get priceless ideas for their own gardens from the dazzling array of assorted flowers and plants that will greet them. Thousands of flowers and plants will be presented in multiple settings designed to help nurseries and other retailers create perfect displays for their flower-loving gardening consumers. The Garden Tour will also offer an exciting sneak preview of the year 2011's varieties of ornamentals, annuals and vegetables in a vast rainbow of beauty and colors. The Garden Walk offers the rare opportunity for the public to visit the multi-acre facility: PanAmerican Plant is one of the world's leading breeders and producers of F1 and open-pollinated flower seed and markets its products through both wholesale and retail distributors around the globe. Always pushing beyond the expected with its state-of-the-art products, a few of the company's most recent innovations include the fantastically popular Wave Petunias®, Matrix Pansies®, Super Elfin Impatiens®, and the Fantastic Foliage® and Fantastic Flowers® brands of premium seed-grown varieties.
