I love the way Spring comes to Fillmore
Out of the wintery gloom
And brightens the streets of Fillmore
With many a colorful bloom.
I love the way Spring comes to Fillmore
Creeping into everyone’s houses
Brightening them with marvelous joy
Making the plain brown dirt explode with fragrant wonders.
I love to see the Mustard and Lupine blossoms
Climbing slowly up the hill.
I love the way Spring makes
Fillmore bright and beautiful again.
