Support Group Offered for Stroke Patients and their Families

Ventura, CA. - Community Memorial Hospital is offering a free support group for stroke patients on the second Wednesday of each month. Families, friends and caregivers of patients also are invited to attend the support group meetings, which run from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in the eighth-floor board room at CMH, 147 N. Brent St. A stroke happens unexpectedly and shatters the routine of daily life. This support group is designed to provide participants the opportunity to share their experience with others.
