No time left today for my usual scribbling. I just want to remind everyone that the City of Fillmore is truly back in business. The ladies and gentlemen pictured on this week’s front page are responsible for this incredible turnaround.

Our new City Manager, David Rowlands, with our new city council and diligent city staff are to be congratulated for this success.

Special thanks are due to Mike Sedell, former City Manager of Simi Valley. Mike has worked tirelessly to fix what was wrong with our city. He has volunteered his expertise and extraordinary talent, imagination and ideas, to bring new life back to our town. He and the entire new team have succeeded in an incredibly short period of time.
