Written by Robert Spencer Twelve years after the Taliban were ousted from power, Sharia is to be fully implemented again in Afghanistan. What was all that American blood and treasure spent for? The U.S. oversaw the adoption of a constitution in Afghanistan that enshrined Sharia as the highest law of the land. That made this and the imposition of other Sharia provisions inevitable. But to have stood up for the rights of the women who will be brutalized and victimized as a result of this would have been "Islamophobic."
