PATRIOTIC OBSERVANCE: August 14, 1945 - Japan surrendered to the United States, ending World War II.

ATHLETICS:
1. FALL PHYSICALS – for any fall athletes that have not cleared will be at 3PM on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Dr. Bautista’s office. See Lynn in the Student Store for Physical Forms and Athletic Code.
2. GIRL’S VOLLEYBALL: IMPORTANT meeting on Mon. Aug. 18th, at 3:15, in the gym. During the first week of school hand-in your medical forms to the Student Store and you may also pick-up a “Student Handbook” for parents and athletes to sign and return. TRYOUTS and conditioning will take place each day from 3:15-5:15, for ALL girls interested in volleyball. If you have any questions you may call or stop by Sespe School to talk to Ms. Gonzales (524-6161).

CLUBS:
1. Art Club officers meeting on Tuesday in Room 34 at lunch.
2. Any high school students interested in participating with the Interact Club to be part of the high school team for the upcoming American Cancer Society Relay For Life on Sept. 13, meet in the health office at lunch.
3. Marching Band meets today, Thursday, starting at 3:20. Be in room 19 on time.

STUDENTS:
1. The Dr. Ed class started TODAY @ 7:00 am in Rm. 62 with Mr. Andersen. The first 33 students to report get enrolled in the class.

STAFF:
1. Please return the Technology Use Agreement to Barbara. Place them in the basket on her desk.
