PATRIOTIC OBSERVANCE: March 1, 1872 - Yellowstone became the world's first National Park.

1. BOYS GOLF @ Elkins – Team excused at 12:10.
2. Boys’ Soccer banquet –Friday at 6:00 in the cafeteria. A-L brings main dish and salad/side dish; M-Z – main dish and dessert.
3. Sports pictures for boys’ basketball, boys’ and girls’ soccer and wrestling are all available for pick-up at the KSSP studio (330 Central Ave,

4. MENTOR PROGRAM: Mtn. Vista mentoring after school today. Meet in Rm 17 by 3:15p. Mentors who are not showing up will be dropped,
your grade will also be affected if you are mentoring for class credit. Congratulations Laura Garnica and Anthony Larin this week’s "Mentors of
the Week".

SENIORS:
1. The Department of Apparel Merchandising and Management (AMM) at Cal Poly Pomona will be holding a special Open House Event on
Friday and Saturday March 4th and 5th, 8:45 a.m. to Noon. The showcase will provide high school students who are interested in exploring
higher degree opportunities with a chance to learn about the apparel business, the huge array of exciting career prospects it offers for both
men and women, and the unique qualities of the AMM program at Cal Poly. R.S.V.P. by March 1st to the AMM administrative coordinator,

2. Juniors are selling Butter Braid! Find any junior if you would like to buy a delicious pastry! Juniors – for each one sold you will earn 1 Arch
Bearer point. The top seller will receive an extra 15 points; 2nd will get an extra 10 points; 3rd an extra 5 points. All money raised goes towards
our awesome prom.
STUDENTS:
1. Higher Ed Week II is coming to Fillmore High School on the evening of Tuesday, March 1st, in the high school gym. Speak with college
representatives from UC’s, CSU’s, Private Universities, Community Colleges, and trade schools. Bring the family! Win an IPOD!
2. Sadie Hawkins Dance Tickets – buy your tickets in the Student Store at lunch. Tickets are $10 per person. The dance is SATURDAY,
March 5th in the gym.
3. EXTRA CREDIT/MAKE-UP RUNS – Every Wednesday. Report to the track by 3:25.
