PATRIOTIC OBSERVANCE: March 23, 1775 - Patrick Henry declared "Give me liberty, or give me death."
LUNCH: Macaroni & cheese, broccoli, garlic bread, fresh fruit
ATHLETICS:
1. BOYS GOLF – HOME w/OAK PARK. Match begins at 1:30PM. Golf Team is excused from class at 12:10PM.
2. SWIMMING - AWAY @ SANTA PAULA - Meet begins at 3PM. Swim Team is excused from class at 1:30PM to depart at 1:45PM.
3. BASEBALL - HOME w/SANTA PAULA - JV and Varsity Games begin at 3:30PM. Baseball Team is excused from class at 2:15PM and
are to report to the field.
4. PATCHES - Athletes if you would like to order patches for your jacket, please see Lynn in the Student Store.
5. The following Spring Sports Teams will be photographed: Track - Wednesday, March 23, 2:45pm
CLUBS:
1. Dead Poets Club - Meeting Wednesday at lunch in the drama room. Art show poems are due. YEARBOOK PICTURE will be re-taken.
2. MENTOR PROGRAM: San Cayetano mentoring today after school. Meet in RM 17 by 3:15p. Congratulations to Larissa Villanueva and Oscar
Negrete this week’s "Mentors of the Week".
3. Anime Club meeting Thursday in the art room at lunch. New members are welcome.

2. If you want pictures in the Senior Slide Show, start turning them in to Ms. Schieferle or Lynn in the Student Store.
3. Off Campus info – if you have tardies/absences that need to be cleared before you can leave for lunch, your parent must call the school by
11:00, or you will have to wait until the following day to leave campus at lunch.
4. Grad Nite Live – There will be a meeting on Wednesday at 4:00 at the Double A Café for all students participating in fundraisers. THEY WILL
HAVE A NACHO BAR for you! Turn in your money and/or tickets for the Central Station or the Attractions Spa fundraisers. The next fund
raiser will be See’s Candy.
5. Graduation Announcements will be handed out on Friday, April 15th during lunch. You will be receiving a postcard from Josten’s with your
balance at the beginning of April. You can only pay with Cash, Debit or Credit card…NO CHECKS. If you have questions see Ms. Sheff or
Lynn.

• Rotary Club of Fillmore Sun Risers - Deadline is April 1st.
• Rotary Club of Fillmore-Noontime - Deadline is April 1st.

• Fillmore Women’s Service Club - Deadline is April 6th.
• Mario and Rosaria Contini Scholarship - Deadline is April 15th.
• Henry Mayo Newhall Scholarship - Deadline is April 15th.
JUNIORS:
1. If you have any Butter Braid orders left to turn in PLEASE turn them in to Trina NOW! Go to Room 3 Right NOW. Did I say we needed them
NOW? Hurry and get them in NOW! Thank you!
STUDENTS:
1. If you are interested in participating in the FHS Talent Show, stop by the Student Store to pick up an audition form. Turn it in by April
13th to Mr. Overton or Barbara Lemons.
2. EXTRA CREDIT/MAKE-UP RUNS – Every Wednesday. Report to the track by 3:25.
3. The Arts Show is scheduled for April 12th. If you have artwork that you would like to exhibit in the show, please bring it/them to Rm. 34
4. Students who are going to the Prom or who want to be asked to go to the Prom! You cannot have any truancies 2nd semester – If you
do you can’t go to the Prom! WOW…then that special someone would have to ask somebody else---yikes! Don’t get any truancies! Don’t
have any drama! Be good so you can go to and have a good time at Prom! Get it? Got it? Good! :)
5. FFA Blood Drive – Thursday March 31st. If you are 16 years of age or older you may donate. Permission slips are in the Health Office. Must
be turned in by Friday 3/25.
6. The M.E.Ch.A Club invites all ladies to sign up to run for the Cinco de Mayo court. Sign up in Rm. 45 (Ms. Juarez) before school, tutorial or
at lunch. Interviews will be April 4 – 7.
