2. Cap & Gowns & Graduation Announcements that were not picked up last week will be handed out on April 28th.

5. DISNEYLAND TRIP - This year’s cost to go on the Disneyland Trip is $57.00. Start early by paying for your ticket or you can make
payments to the Student Store. Permission Slips are available in the Student Store and must be completed prior to the trip.

• California Women for Agriculture Ventura County Chapter pursue
a degree in any Ag related field. Deadline is May 2nd.
• Boys and Girls Club of Ventura - Emma Nylen Scholarship to aid
motivated and needy students, at any level of higher education or
training, who find it difficult to pay for the expenses of attending a

• Jacobs Technology Naval Systems Group Jack Hledik Memorial
Scholarship -o pursue a degree in a field of engineering,
mathematics, physics, or a science field that is related to an
engineering discipline. Students must have also achieved one or more
of the following academic standards: a minimum academic weighted
3.25 GPA, or composite score of 25 (of 36) on the ACT, or score of
1150 (of 1600) on the SAT. You must be a U.S. citizen to apply. See
Mrs. Larin for an application. Deadline is May 11th.
• Caners Foundation - horticulture related field in the fall 2011. For

May 31st.
STUDENTS:
1. Saturday School on April 30 – might be the last chance before the Prom.
2. Seniors and Juniors - come sign up to attend the Youth Empowerment Summit - Friday, May 6, 2011 from 7:30am to 3:30pm @ Oxnard
college. Come sign up in the Mentor room or with Mrs. Sandford Space is limited.
Prom Information:
1. Prom tickets will go on sale on Wed., April 27th. Cost is $45/single or $90/couple. Prices will go up on May 9th. The prom will be on May 14th
at the Museum of Ventura County (100 E. Main St., Ventura) from 8:00 – midnight.
All students entering 7th -12th grades in August 2011 are required to have a Tdap booster. Public Health is telling us
'no shot, no school'. Clinicas del Camino Real in Fillmore, 355 Central Avenue is offering 4 Tdap vaccine clinics on
Saturdays from 9-1:30 - April 30, May 14, May 21. A parent must accompany student
