ATHLETICS:
1. SOFTBALL – HOME VARSITY w/GRACE BRETHREN, JV HOME AGAINST CARPINTERIA. Both games begin at 3:30PM.
2. ATHLETES - In order for you to participate and practice during the summer for ANY SPORT/PEP SQUAD you must have a current physical
on file with the Athletic Department. “FREE” physicals will be given starting Monday, May 2nd, however you must see Mrs. Dewey in the
Health Office to set-up an appointment and complete the required paperwork. If you wish to get a physical from your own personal doctor,
please see Lynn in the Student Store for a current physical form. Once completed ALL PHYSCIALS are required to be returned to Mrs.
Dewey in the Health Office.
CLUBS:
1. FHS Ambassadors – members are reminded to go to City Hall after school on Thursday to set up for UC Success Night.
2. MENTOR PROGRAM: Please turn in your permission slip for "Big Appreciation Day" in Rm 17. All mentors are invite.

STUDENTS & STAFF:
1. TUTORIAL SWITCH – On Tuesday, May 3rd we will make the tutorial switch. New stickers will be passed out during tutorial in the gym for
students who qualify. Class lists will be posted on the Attendance Office windows and by Mr. Quiroz’s room #58.
STUDENTS:
1. Saturday School on April 30 – might be the last chance before the Prom.
5. AP TESTS – Payment for AP test are due by FRIDAY. Contact Mr. Wilber if you are not able to make
this deadline. AP tests begin next week! SENIORS - Ms Hoffman is offering extra credit to any of her AP students who
pay for all their exams by end of Thursday. You pay Lynn in the Student Store.

3. Heritage Valley Blazers Youth Track & Field Club would like to invite all high school students and faculty to come and support our future high
school track & field athletes this Saturday, April 30th, 2011 at 8:30am. Students looking to acquire community hours by helping out at the
meet, please sign-in at the Volunteer Sign-In table on Saturday or contact Sonia Baez at sbaez@dock.net.
Prom Information:
1. Prom tickets will go on sale on Thur., April 28th in the Student Store. If you plan to bring a date that is not a current student at Fillmore High
School, you must get a GUEST PASS at the Student Store. Guest Passes must be complete before you will be sold a ticket. Cost is
$45/single or $90/couple. Prices will go up to $50/$100 on May 9th. The prom will be on May 14th at the Museum of Ventura County (100 E.
Main St., Ventura) from 8:00 – midnight.
All students entering 7th -12th grades in August 2011 are required to have a Tdap booster. Public Health is telling us
'no shot, no school'. Clinicas del Camino Real in Fillmore, 355 Central Avenue is offering 4 Tdap vaccine clinics on
Saturdays from 9-1:30 - April 30, May 14, May 21. A parent must accompany student
