ATHLETICS:
1. GIRLS SOCCER - HOME w/Alemany. Frosh. Game begins at 3PM, JV at 4:30PM and Varsity at 6PM. FROSH GIRLS ONLY are excused from class at 1:55PM and are to report directly to the field.
2. BOYS SOCCER - FROSH. ONLY - AWAY @ Golden Valley. Game begins at 3:15PM. FROSH. BOYS ONLY are excused from class at 12:45PM, bus will depart at 1:00PM, Varsity at 6PM.
3. WRESTLING - AWAY @ Ventura Tournament. Wrestling Team is excused from class at 1PM.
4. SWIM TEAM: Mandatory meeting on Thursday, Dec. 11th in Room 49 at lunch time. Bring any completed paperwork. If you are interested in participating on the swim team, please be sure to attend.

CLUBS:
1. MECHA CLUB – lunch meeting Thursday.
2. PRAYER CLUB meets Wednesday at lunch in Rm. 2. All are welcome.
3. Poetry Club – meeting Friday at lunch in Rm. 18.
4. ANIME CLUB – meeting on Thursday at lunch in Rm. 34.
5. Mentor Program: Reminder -No after school or lunch programs this wk or next wk due to Black Out Week & Finals.
6. Mentor Program: Officers’ meeting this Fri. Rm. 10 at lunch. You will be planning Holiday Party!

SENIORS:
Scholarships:
• The Elks National Foundation is offering the “Scholarship for Elk Families Scholarship” to any child or grandchild of a living Elk member. For complete details, see Mrs. Larin in the College and Career Center or go to www.elks.org/enf/scholars Deadline is Dec 31st.
• The California Association of Educational Office is offering a scholarship to students who have a 2.0 GPA or better, plan on attending a college or university to major in business administration or education, demonstrate financial need, and be involved in extracurricular activities. For complete details, see Mrs. Larin. Deadline is Jan 2nd.

STUDENTS:
1. Are you interesting in taking College Classes this spring? Don’t wait until the last minute. Sign up to see your counselor now! A representative from Ventura College will be in the College and Career Center on Thursday, December 11th.
2. ADMINISTRATIVE DETENTION – Every Tuesday & Thursday from 3:15-4:15 in Rm. 49
3. Are you interested in the outdoors, meeting new people, and traveling?? Come to a presentation by the Montana Yellowstone Experience at lunch in Rm 49 on Friday! Snacks provided! Everyone's welcome.
4. If you are interested in taking Mr. Richter’s landscaping class next semester? See your counselor ASAP

6. Freshmen, Sophomores & Juniors – class t-shirts are on sale now for $12. All orders must be turned in by Dec. 19th. Show your class spirit and buy one!
7. The Art Club is selling Holiday Grams & Teddy Bears during lunch in the quad Wed. – Fri. or from Mrs. M in Rm. 34. $5.00 for Teddy Bear & Card.
8. One Step: Board meeting today at lunch Rm. 10 -snack provided.

1. The district office has asked us to remind you that we only have a 2 week break during the Winter Holiday. Please remind your parents that we expect you all to stay in school until the final day – December 19th. Thank you.
