ATHLETICS:
1. CONGRATULATIONS to the GIRLS BASKETBALL team for defeating Chaminade on Saturday. They now advance to the CIF
Quarter-finals and will play at HOME on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. against Pacific Hills. ASB is purchasing 25 student tickets
from CIF to give away. Sign up in the quad at break and lunch TODAY for a chance to win one!
The winners will be announced at lunch on Wednesday.

4. Hiking Club meets Thursday 2/26 If you plan on attending the next hike, you must attend. Next hike is on
2/28 if the weather is good.
5. MESA – MESA Day at UCSB is coming up next month! Meeting TODAY at lunch in RM. 22.
SENIORS:
1. Mrs. Ashim has submitted 245 Cal Grant GPA Verifications. If you are one of the few students who have not given me your SSN and want me
to submit your information, she can do that until March 1st.
2. If you requested transcripts from Debby, PLEASE to pick them up. Debby is getting buried in transcripts on her desk!.
3. If you have not completed your FAFSA there will be another FAFSA workshop on Thursday, February 26th at 6:45 p.m. in the library. This
will be the last workshop!

• The Fillmore Alumni Scholarship - applications must be returned to the alumni office, 549 Sespe Ave., Suite #6 no later than 3:30 p.m., Fri., Feb. 27th.
• American Chemical Society Scholars Program is offering a scholarship to African-American, Hispanic/Latino, or American Indian students who are planning to pursue a career
in chemical sciences. Students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the U.S., have a 3.0 GPA or higher, and demonstrate financial need according to FAFSA.

• Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation is offering a scholarship to students who are the son/daughter of an active duty or served as a U.S. Marine or the grandchild of a U.S.

CIF Quarter-Finals game is tonight, the Mother-Daughter Tea scheduled for TONIGHT has been rescheduled and will be combined with the first
practice. First Practice (& points will begin) WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4TH - 5:30PM - Memorial Building. Applications are available at the

5. PENNIES FOR PATIENTS – So far we have 2 classes that have collected over $200 each! How is your class doing?

7. INDIAN EDUCATION STUDENTS – there is a free 2-week residential summer program (June 27-July 12 at University of Irvine) where students
work with professors, college students, and invited American Indian community members to develop interactive story projects that combine
