ATHLETICS:
1. WINTER SPORT ATHLETES - Dr. Bautista will be offering FREE Physicals TODAY OCTOBER 29TH beginning at 3:30PM.
2. WINTER SPORTS CLEARENCE NIGHT – will be held TONIGHT, OCTOBER 29TH beginning at 6:30PM in the Gym. This is for Winter Athletes and their Parents.
3. BASEBALL - Any boys wishing to participate in JV / Varsity Baseball, please sign-up in the student store.
4. WRESTLERS - meet with Coach Calderon on Wednesday during lunch in the wrestling room.
5. FRIDAY FOOTBALL - NO COSTUMES for Middle School – adults will be allowed at the game. Wear your costume to school, but not the game!
6. BUY YOUR TICKETS EARLY – If you don’t have an ASB Sticker, Pre-Sale Tickets are available at the Student Store for this week’s game. Adults $7, Students & Children $4 and Seniors $3.

CLUBS:
1. FASHION CLUB – meets every Wednesday & Friday at lunch in Rm. 34.
2. PRAYER CLUB meets Wednesday at lunch in Rm. 2. All are welcome.
3. ANIME CLUB – meeting on Thursday at lunch in Rm. 34.
4. Hiking club/ AVID Club: Meet on Thurs. at lunch to discuss upcoming fundraising events. See you there.

SENIORS:
1. UNOS College Presentation – Thursday during 3rd & 4th periods. Report to 3rd period class to receive instructions. Role will be taken in the gym.
2. CSUB is opening their campus to high school seniors on Thursday, October 30th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. For complete details see Mrs. Larin in the College and Career Center or call 661-654-3138.
3. Submit designs for Senior Sweatshirt to Rm. 65 by Friday 11/7.
4. There will be a UC Berkeley Admissions event on Saturday, November 1st, from 2 – 4 p.m. at Pacifica High School in the Performing Arts Center. If you’re interested, sign up in the College and Career Center.

STUDENTS:
1. The library is now open every Wednesday morning for study hall from 7:30 - 9:00 am. Staff will be in the library to assist with homework, research, etc. Please take advantage of this opportunity.
2. ADMINISTRATIVE DETENTION – Every Tuesday & Thursday from 3:15-4:15 in Rm. 49. If you have not served your detentions, you will not be allowed to attend the Santa Paula football rally or game. It is your responsibility to make sure that you are not on a detention list.
3. November 5th is the registration deadline for the December 6th SAT reasoning and subject tests. You can register on-line at www.collegeboard.com. See your counselor for more information.
4. November 7th is the registration deadline for the December 13th ACT tests. You can register on-line at www.actstudent.org. See your counselor for more information.
5. IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO HELP! San Cayetano School is looking for High School student Volunteers for their Fall Carnival. The Carnival is Thursday October 30th from 3:00 (set up) to 8:00. If any student would like to volunteer their time, call Martha Hope at 524-8142 during school hours.
6. CLASS RINGS - Jostens will be here to deliver class rings on Friday, October 31st during break and at lunch to the students who bought them at the end of August.
7. One Step- Lunch meeting on Wednesday, 10/29 in Rm. 10. Bring your lunch and see you there! All students are welcomed.
8. All students-Paradox Community Technologies is offering free Microsoft Word Training classes, on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the One Step Center (600 Saratoga Ave.) Sign ups in Room 10.
9. Ventura College Auto class – TONIGHT’S VC Auto Class has been CANCELLED.
10. FILM SCRIPT – all students interested in writing a film script come to Mr. Overton’s room (drama room) for a script-writing seminar from 3:15 – 4:15. Want to win that $2,500 Grand Prize in the Film Festival? Come to this important training!
11. RED RIBBON/SANTA PAULA WEEK – Wednesday – Nerd Day; Thursday – Shades and Caps; Friday – Halloween Costumes

The Dress up Day results from Monday & Tuesday are in. In last place – Juniors with 137 points; 3rd – Freshmen with 172; 2nd place with 174, and in 1st with a big lead – Seniors with 228 points.
