Frankie Lopez at age 50 passed away after a long valiant struggle after an unsuccessful surgery due to several health complications on October 30, 2021. Frankie was born on October 24, 1971 in Santa Paula, CA. He was a lifelong Fillmore resident born to Blanca and Francisco Lopez. Frankie was a father, son, brother and good friend to many. He always had a smile on his face along with a contagious laugh and a big humble heart. His children and niece were the pride and joy of his life. The legacy of his fun-loving spirit, passion for barbecuing, his love for music and nature will live on through them. Frankie was generous and very giving anytime anyone was in need even if it meant giving the last dollar in his pocket. He also volunteered his time for several years with the St. Francis Church Food Share Program in Fillmore. Frankie is survived by his mother Blanca and Francisco Lopez, sisters Elizabeth and Athena Lopez, sons Xavier and Jacob Lopez, daughter Jazzy Ramos and niece Juanita Pillado.
All services will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021 at Piru San Salvador Mission Church, 4041 Center Street, Piru, CA 93040. Rosary will begin at 9:00 a.m. with mass to follow. We will lay him to rest at Bardsdale Cemetery in Fillmore.
