Bardsdale Head-on Crash Sends One to Hospital

On Saturday, November 19th, at 4pm, Ventura County Fire, California Highway Patrol, AMR Paramedics and Fillmore Fire were dispatched to a reported traffic collision, van vs. VW Jetta, on SR23 / Elkins Road, Bardsdale. Arriving firefighters reported two vehicles involved in a head-on collision. A second ambulance was requested to respond to the scene but was later canceled; one ambulance transport was made, patient condition unknown. The crash is under investigation.
