A black bear decided to make itself at home in the backyard of a house on Valley Vista and Fourth Street last week. On Thursday, April 21st, the homeowner called the authorities about a large bear that had made its way onto their property. Ventura County Sheriffs and Fish & Game Wardens responded, tranquilizing the animal and relocating it back into the wilderness. It was a happy ending for everyone, including the bear.
