Daylight Stabbing Sends 2 to Hospital

On Tuesday, April 15th, at approximately 2:23 p.m., the Fillmore Police Department responded to a fight in progress at First Street and Mountain View Street. 911 callers reported that several male and female subjects were involved in a physical altercation, with at least two being stabbed. One victim was found on Mountain View Street with a stab wound, where Ventura County Fire treated the patient; a second victim arrived at the Fillmore Police Station, where the patient was treated by Fillmore City Fire and AMR Paramedics. Both stabbed patients were transported to a local hospital. According to the sheriff’s dispatch, four subjects fled in an older gray Nissan or Honda. It was last seen heading towards Highway 126.
