Fillmore Citizen’s Patrol Awards $3,500 in Scholarships

![]() On Thursday, June 16th, 2022, Fillmore Citizen Patrol awarded three scholarships to high school seniors interested in the first responder professions. Izaac Mercado is interested in the fire service as a career and was awarded the John Harm Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1,500. Oscar Villalta was awarded $1,000 and is also looking to go into the fire service. Kayla Cervantez was awarded $1,000 and is interested in going into law enforcement.
