On February 15th, 2022, at 8:03pm, Fillmore City Fire and Ventura County Fire were dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 600 block of Manzanita Dr., Fillmore. Crews were able to locate the fire inside the home’s walls, barely making its way to the attic. Both departments managed to stop the fire, preventing further damage to the home. Residents of the home suffered no injuries and are currently being aided by the Red Cross organization until the family is able to return to their home. Cause of the fire is under investigation.
