On behalf of the Fillmore Women’s Service Club members, Susan Banks, President, and Mimi Burns, Youth Chairwoman, presented a check for $500 to the Fillmore Police Explorers, # 2958. The Explorers are raising money to put towards the purchase of a van to transport the students to different events. The Explorers volunteer at events in Fillmore, and in other communities as well. They also compete at Explorer’s competitions where they not only place high in the standings, but have the opportunity of meeting other Explorers and advancing their education and experiences.
