On Friday, January 19, at 3:43 p.m., Ventura County Fire Department and Fillmore City Fire were dispatched to a reported structure fire in the 2400 block of Grand Avenue. While firefighters were enroute a large plum of white smoke was visible. Arriving firefighters found an illegal burn taking place, firefighters quickly extinguished the fire.
