Local Fillmore Firefighter Receives $10,000 Thank You

A local Fillmore firefighter was given a surprise $10,000 thank you check Thursday, November 17, at 6 p.m. The recipient, Ken Harris is the winner of California Casualty’s latest Work Hard/Play Hard contest. The winner’s name was pulled from more than 24,000 entries across the nation. The Work Hard/Play Hard contest thanks first responders for the hard work they do making our communities safer.
