On Friday, April 19, at 9:21 p.m., Ventura County Fire Department, Fillmore City Fire, and Ventura City Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 2200 block of Grand Avenue. Arriving firefighters reported a single-story residential structure with smoke and flames coming out from the roof, indicating a working fire. The fire was knocked down by firefighters within over 30 minutes. A Ventura County Fire Department investigator was dispatched. Cause of the fire is being investigated.
