On Monday, January 5th, the California Highway Patrol and Ventura County Fire responded to a traffic accident involving a double trailer big-rig carrying kale, and a Toyota Prius. At approximately 6:50pm the truck was coming out of a private driveway and the Toyota struck the first trailer tire. the driver of Toyota was transported by helicopter to an area hospital with moderate to major injuries.
