A collision occurred last Friday at the intersection of Highway 126 and C Street. The incident happened shortly before 9:30 p.m. when a late model Volkswagen sedan struck an 18-wheeler on the truck’s right fuel tank. No fuel leakage was caused but the car suffered significant right front end damage. The truck-trailer appeared to be making a left turn onto C Street, No injuries were reported and the cause of the accident was undetermined at press time.
