Vehicle Crashes into Downtown Storefront, Flees Scene

On Monday, July 5, at 3:15pm, the Ventura County Sheriff’s and Fillmore Fire Departments were dispatched to a reported vehicle into structure, with the vehicle fleeing the scene. The crash occurred in a fitness gym storefront at 330 Central Avenue. Sheriffs were able to locate the driver in the area of Central Avenue and Santa Clara Street. No one was injured in the crash.
