On Thursday November 3rd, 2011, Chevron and EPA officials presented the history, cleanup, and future plans for the old Texaco “Fillmore Works” Oil Refinery property located on the east edge of town along Pole Creek. The site, now called the “Pacific Coast Pipeline Site” (PCPL) is planned for new development that will include commercial, industrial, open space and hiking trails.
