High winds are forecasted to affect Ventura County from Monday, Jan. 6, through Friday, Jan. 10. Dry vegetation and strong gusts increase wildfire risks, which may result in Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) by Southern California Edison (SCE) to protect our communities.

What to Do:

- Stay Prepared: Have an emergency kit ready with essentials.

- Stay Informed: Track potential shutoffs at SCE.COM/psps.

- Be Alert: Check VCEmergency.com for updates.

- Safety First: If outages occur, please treat all intersections as four-way stops and use flashlights instead of candles to avoid fire risks.
