Surrounded with the love of her family, Mary Ann (Gathright) Palmer went to be with the Lord Monday, November 21st.
She graduated from Fillmore High in 1950 and married her high school sweetheart, Dale Palmer, in 1952. Together they made their home in Bardsdale with daughters Janet and Susan and son Don. She was then blessed with 8 grand children and they have blessed her with 10 great grand children.
Mary Ann spent many summers camping and fishing, spending time at the beach and hostessing numerous parties for her kids. Later, she and Dale were able to travel and experience several cruises. She enjoyed gardening and was very active in the Garden Club and Orchid Society. She was also an avid bridge player and belonged to several bridge clubs.
Preceded in death by her parents Walt and Viola Gathright, Mary Ann is survived by her sister Gertrude Lovelace and brother Ed Gathright.
A celebration of Mary Ann Palmer's life will be held at the Faith Community Church Tuesday, November 29 at 1:00pm, 355 D Street, Paster Mark Rathe, residing. A private graveside service for the family will be held at Bardsdale Cemetery.
