Michael Keith Duckett, of Fillmore CA, passed away peacefully on Feb 5, 2025, from pneumonia. Mike was husband of 55 years to his wife Sheila, father to Scott and Kellie (Brad), grandfather to Olivia, brother to Janna and Christy (deceased).
Mike was born in Fillmore on May 11, 1948, to Doug and Verlee Duckett. After high school graduation in 1966, he proudly enlisted in the US Navy. It was his honor to serve 4 years in the submarine service, and his patriotism was evident throughout his life.
After his military service, Mike returned to Fillmore to raise his family. Alongside his career in aerospace production, he volunteered for several local community organizations.
Mike will be greatly missed by family, friends and by his exceptional caregiver Elizabeth. He was a respected uncle, brother-in-law, cousin, neighbor and co-worker.
A private burial will be held at Bardsdale Cemetery.
