Alcoholic Beverage Control (A.B.C.) Sting Operation Conducted on Local Markets Results in Arrests

The Thousand Oaks Police Department C.O.P.P.S. Unit conducted an A.B.C. sting, using under age adults to purchase alcoholic beverages. Decoys attempted to make purchases of alcohol beverages at 38 locations in the Thousand Oaks/ Moorpark area. Cashiers at two CVS Pharmacies in Thousand Oaks and a Rite-Aid in Moorpark were caught selling alcoholic beverages to minors. The cashiers were arrested and issued misdemeanor citations.
