Assault with a Deadly Weapon Arrest in Thousand Oaks

Ventura County Sheriff's Department During the night of November 26, 2011, a Thousand Oaks patrol deputy came across Salvador Jimenez at Acorn Acres Park. Jimenez was bleeding from a knife wound. Jimenez told the deputy that gang members had attacked and stabbed him in the hand. Jimenez was transported to Los Robles Hospital to be treated for a non-life threatening injury. Detectives from the Thousand Oaks Special Enforcement Unit and the East County Major Crimes Unit conducted an investigation into this case. They learned that Jimenez had been stabbed by a known juvenile gang associate. On December 1, 2011, the juvenile suspect was arrested and booked in Ventura County Juvenile Hall for felony assault with a deadly weapon.
