On November 5, 2012, at about 3:30 p.m. deputies from the Moorpark Patrol Station and officers from the California Highway Patrol responded to the area of Los Angeles Ave (S/R 118) and Grimes Canyon Road for a reported stabbing. Once on scene, officers discovered a 43 year old male with a stab wound to the chest. The suspected stabber, Paul Corona, was contacted at the scene and arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he underwent surgery for his wound. The victim and suspect apparently fought over a road rage incident. Information at the scene indicated a female in an older dark sedan may have witnessed all or part of the fight / stabbing. The Ventura County Sheriff's Office is looking for this woman or any other persons who may have witnessed the fight / stabbing.
