On 8-9-11 at about 9 p.m., an unknown assailant entered a business in El Rio and attacked an employee who was working there. The victim stated that the suspect approached him and, without provocation, started punching and kicking him. The suspect also threw a metal object at the victim, which had the potential to cause serious bodily injury.

Attached is a photo of the suspect as he is leaving the business. Detectives are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in this unprovoked attack. Anyone who has information regarding the identity of this suspect is urged to call the Sheriff’s Office at (805) 662-6770, or anonymously call Crime Stoppers for a reward.
