Assistant Manager at service station arrested for identity theft

Ventura County Sheriff's Department An assistant manager of a Thousand Oaks service station was arrested for identity theft, financial elder abuse, and fraudulent use of access card account numbers on 8-30-10. Sachith Devass copied credit card numbers from victims as they paid for their auto service. Devass then used the victims’ credit card accounts to purchase merchandise. Devass targeted specific customers, as a majority of the victims were over 65 years old. Devass was arrested and booked into custody on 8-30-10. He was released after posting bond for $50,000.
