Attempted Murder Arrest

Ventura County Sheriff's Department On February 19, 2010, at approximately 11:00 PM, sheriff’s deputies responded to a call of a stabbing victim in the 600 block of Las Posas Road, Camarillo. The victim, a juvenile male, was transported to the hospital where he underwent emergency surgery. He remains in critical, but stable condition. On February 20, 2010, investigators from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department Major Crimes Bureau and the Camarillo Police Department Special Enforcement Unit identified and arrested a juvenile male for the attempted murder. The suspect was booked into Ventura County Juvenile Justice Center. This investigation is ongoing.
