Suspect Vehicle: Possibly a full size red sports utility

On Wednesday, at about 4:55 a.m., Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies responded to an alarm call at Bill’s Bike Shop. The reporting party informed Sheriff’s Dispatch that the glass door to the bike shop had been smashed and the alarm was sounding. Deputies arrived on scene in less than five minutes. They subsequently discovered three high-end mountain bikes were stolen.
An investigation was started and it appears, there were two suspects and they may have used a red full size sports utility vehicle during the crime. The three stolen bikes were described as:
1. Specialized S-works Enduro SL
2. Specialized Enduro SL Expert
3. Specialized Demo 8 II

Ventura County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 reward for information, which leads to the arrest and criminal complaint against the person(s) responsible for this crime.
