WANTED: Rusty Sellner, in connection with the felony investigations of a commercial burglary, a stolen vehicle, and evading deputies during a vehicle pursuit. Investigators have confirmed that Sellner knows he is wanted by the police and believe he is continuing to try to avoid capture. Sellner is described as a 19-year-old white male, 5’10” tall and 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Sellner is still believed to be in the Newbury Park area.

Over the last few weeks, detectives from the Thousand Oaks Police Department’s Special Enforcement Unit and Investigations Unit have worked together in a combined effort to combat a recent increase in commercial burglaries and thefts from vehicles. Thousand Oaks Police Detectives were assisted by crime analysts who tracked the locations, methods and frequency of crimes occurring in Thousand Oaks. Evidence was discovered that began linking the crimes to an eight-person burglary ring. The suspects were all identified and investigators arrested seven burglars for a variety of felony charges including commercial burglary, auto theft, grand theft, possession of stolen property, and violation of probation.

The Thousand Oaks Police Department is requesting your assistance in locating the final suspect, Rusty Sellner. He is currently wanted in connection with the felony investigations of a commercial burglary, a stolen vehicle, and evading deputies during a vehicle pursuit.
