California Statewide Fire Summary

Over a dozen wildfires across California continue to threaten thousands of homes as over 7,000 firefighters work tirelessly to build containment around the fires. The hot temperatures and dry conditions continue to pose a challenge to firefighters.

Cooler temperatures are expected later this week, which will aid firefighters in their progress.
