On the evening of 03/26/2009, Dave Woods sent several sexually explicit telephone text messages to a 16-year-old minor female. Woods is a teacher at the Cornerstone Christian School in Camarillo and the victim is a student at the same school.

Pursuant to an investigation, Dave Woods was arrested for a violation of Penal Code 288.3(a), which is defined as sending communications to a minor with the intent to commit sexual offenses.
